Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use
The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1, incorporates two of the most essential baby items: strollers and infant car seats. It makes it easier to get on and off public transportation (and walk up and down stairs).
One of the best options for this is the Doona infant car seat & stroller combo. It's the world's first completely integrated travel system that allows you to switch between your car seat and stroller in seconds without disturbing your baby.
Simple to use
Car seat and stroller combos that are easy to use are a must for parents. These travel systems allow you to switch between running errands, walking your dog, or taking a run. You can also keep track of the changing needs of your child, so you can have fun with your family adventures. Our test subjects are awed by the ease and speed with which these travel systems glide, regardless of whether they have one front wheel or a rotating front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain Pro combo are incredibly easy to maneuver however, the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo can be moved easily using just one hand.
Some models are difficult to remove or attach from the base. The Doona Combo, for example requires a two-step attach procedure and straps that are placed over the infant carrier's bottom portion. It's tempting to skip the steps however it could lead to dangerous results.

In the same way certain models are difficult to fold away and store, which makes them less convenient than others. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for example, is difficult to fold due to its large dimensions and heavy frame. Some testers also find the canopy on this model disappointing. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is simple to fold down with the push of a button and a pull of the lever. This model is a fantastic choice for parents who want to use their car seat in other vehicles, since it can be easily removed from the base.
Easy to Fold
It should be simple to unfold and fold the car seat, regardless of whether you're storing it inside your trunk or the closet. The most efficient combinations we've tried fold easily with one hand and are strong enough to be used on long walks. 2 in 1 travel system to maneuver, moving effortlessly over uneven surfaces and bumps. Some combos can only be connected and removed using straps. This may seem like a step in the back, and can make it harder for parents to secure their car seat correctly.
We love the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo for its handy features and sturdy build, that include a huge storage basket that's accessible from front to back. SafeCenter LATCH, a unique feature of the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo, makes it easy to install car seats by connecting the lower anchors and pulling the straps tight.
It's also relatively lightweight which makes it a great option for frequent travellers or families with multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored very well in our tests of ease-of-use. Both have a single wheel that is simple to push with one hand. Both have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also have a movable swivel wheel, perfect for shopping or running errands. The only drawback is that they're heavy and it's difficult to lift them up when carrying children in the car seat.
Easy to Assemble
Some car seat and stroller combos can be difficult to assemble. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the simplest travel systems to assemble. It even includes a helpful guide. Other models we looked at like the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule Urban Glide 2, and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also relatively easy to put together. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however is a bit difficult to put together. It requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors, and using straps that cover the bottom of the carrier. It's also heavy, and it takes two hands to snap the carrier into the base, then detach it from there.
In our tests we took about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 together. This is a bit rapid when you consider how much time is saved by not having to remove the pieces. The majority of these models come with an easy method of attaching and detaching the toddler seat, but there are other options as well.
